Fiber Optic Distributed Vibration Detection of 220 kV Power Transformer Winding

Winding is a common part of the transformer failure, its structural deformation caused by the vibration characteristics of the change is closely related to the operating state. The vibroacoustic signals inside the transformer are propagated to the surface of the casing through a complex coupling mechanism of refraction and reflection. Traditional vibration sensors outside the shell are difficult to distinguish the source and size of the vibration sound signal. Aiming at this situation, this paper takes φ-OTDR distributed optical fiber vibration sensing technology as an entry point, and arranges the optical fiber directly on the surface of the transformer winding to study its vibration detection performance. Design and implementation of φ-OTDR-based transformer winding vibration detection programme. 220 kV transformer winding vibration signal characteristic detection under normal conditions is achieved.
