The Research on the Factors Influencing the Characteristics of Power System Frequency

Power frequency characteristics of power system reflect the power system frequency changes when the active power is out of balance. It is also the basis to study the system operation mode, low-frequency load shedding scheme design and evaluation of a variety of work for frequency modulation and voltage regulation, etc. It has important theoretical and practical significance to the planning, operation and control of power system.This paper mainly describes frequency quality and its economic issues under the operation of the power system, the static frequency characteristics of the load, the load-frequency relationship, the frequency adjustment method in the power system, and the frequency adjustment of the power system with the access of solar energy and wind energy. Based on the grid stability analysis methods, stability calculations and power flow calculations and analysis, the PSASP software is used to simulate and calculate the power grid situation in a certain area in China, so as to study and analyze the factors affecting the frequency characteristics of the power system.
