Analyzing the Pivotal Role of Artificial Intelligent Technology in Promoting Balanced Development Between Urban and Rural Areas From the Perspective of Residents in Longqi District

We explored the role of smart technology in promoting the balanced development of urban and rural areas in Taiwan, using the Dainan Bus App. The combined analysis of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Kano Model was conducted to evaluate the various functions of the app from the perspectives of user satisfaction and service quality. The results indicated that users found the interface of the Dainan Bus App to be intuitive and user-friendly and the App effectively provided real-time traffic information and enhanced travel efficiency and quality of life for residents in rural areas. Besides “positive experiences” as an essential basic requirement, “ease of obtaining information” and “ease of learning” significantly impacted user satisfaction. This highlighted the importance of smart technology in improving public transportation service quality in rural areas. The results of this study provide a reference for policymakers and technology developers and suggest feasible strategies for smart technology in rural areas in the future. It is important to expand the application of smart technology in rural areas and promote balanced development between urban and rural areas for the enhancement of the living standards of residents in remote areas.
