Analysis of Methods for Calculating Leakage Inductance of a High-Voltage Test Transformer

The article provides a comparison of leakage inductances obtained by analytical and numerical methods for shell-type and core-type transformers. For numerical calculations, 2D and 3D models of transformers in the Elcut and Comsol packages are used. The errors of the analytical method and numerical calculation using 2D magnetic field calculations for the high-voltage transformers have been established. Numerical calculation of 3D-model was adopted as an exact method.
