Development to New Methodology for Determining Calibration Factors in Escco Technology

The necessity to expand the use of esCCO method for real-time operational control of human health in various situations has been substantiated. It is especially important when a doctor or medical worker has to make a decision in a very short period of time. For this purpose he needs reliable data with maximum information about the patient’s condition. The peculiarities of using esCCO technology for measuring cardiac output to determine health status are noted. The main reason why unreliable information is obtained in cardiac output monitoring is identified. A new technique is proposed to reduce its significant influence on the result of cardiac output measurement. Experimental data on the study of the dynamics of cardiac output change over time with the esCCO method using the new technique are provided and compared with the previously obtained results.
