Pulse and Directional Characteristics of Wideband Antennas Consisting of Rod Transducers, Excited According to the Solution of the Synthesis Problem

The principle of construction and excitation of wideband transducers with amplitude-phase excitation based on the solution of the synthesis problem for them is described. The features, arising during the formation of ultra-short pulses using antennas, made up of such transducers are considered. The influence of change in their duration and frequency of formation on the structure of the emitted pulses is estimated. The change in the directional properties of the antenna and structure of the pulse within the main lobe of the directivity characteristic is noted. The results of calculations and experimental studies are compared.
