Leukemia Classification Using EfficientNetB5: A Deep Learning Approach

Leukemia is a critical disease that requires early and accurate diagnosis. Leukemia is a type of blood cancer mainly occurring when bone marrow builds extra white blood cells in the human body. This disease affects adults and is a common cancer type among children. This paper presents a deep-learning approach using EfficientNetB5 to classify Leukemia using The Cancer Imaging Archive (TCIA) with more than 10,000 images from 118 patients. The achieved confusion matrix will contribute to improving the research in diagnosing cancer.
