Abstract:

The study was carried out on the LEDs spectral and energy characteristics and an analysis was made of the artificial lighting effect on plant growth. The electrical circuit of LED grow light with a tunable emission spectrum was simulated. The LED grow light consisted of efficient energy-saving LEDs with the emission spectrum necessary for plant growth. In addition, green LEDs were added to the lamp to create white light that is comfortable for the human eye. The green light turns on when a person approaches. The color rendering index (CRI) was calculated with the green LED array on and reached 75 to evaluate the efficiency of white light generation. The color temperature was 7900 K. An autonomous power supply system for the developed the LED grow light was also calculated, based on a solar power plant, as a result of which the efficiency values for converting solar energy into electrical energy were obtained.
