Researching Influence of the Interface Stiffness on the Transmitting of an Ultrasonic Signal

The purpose of the work is to study the influence of the contact stiffness of two surfaces on the amplitude of the transmitted ultrasonic signal. During the work, boundary conditions were recorded for the case of broken contact of two surfaces, theoretical dependences of the change in the amplitude of the received signal on the applied pressure were obtained. As a result of the study, it was found that the rigidity of the adhesion significantly affects the amplitude of the ultrasonic signal.
