Influence of YouTube as Coding Language Learning For Academic Achievement

This study of the research looks at how utilizing YouTube to learn coding languages affects students' academic performance. According to the survey, YouTube can be useful for learning coding languages, especially for individuals who know best visually and audibly. Students who might have difficulty with conventional learning approaches have found YouTube helpful. However, YouTube videos vary greatly, so students must be picky when choosing the best ones. The data was collected in July 2023 with 81 respondents. Data was collected using purposive sampling and all respondents are from Jabodetabek area in Indonesia. It use Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with SMART PLS as a statistical tool. According to the research, YouTube might be useful for learning coding languages and boosting academic performance. Nevertheless, students should use it as one tool among many and look for top-notch content.
