Development of an Intelligent Telemetric System for Remote Biomonitoring

The paper is devoted to development of a remote biomonitoring system based on the phenomenon of plethysmography and its testing in real conditions. This phenomenon allows not only to measure a person’s pulse non-invasively, but also to assess his physiological state. At the first stage of the system, it is necessary to obtain and detect regions of interest. For this it is better to use neural networks. Next, the average brightness of the selected areas is calculated and added to the data array. By performing an FFT for a given set, it is possible to obtain a signal spectrum from which the harmonic with the largest amplitude is isolated. This harmonic will correspond to the pulse value.
