Implementation of Temperature and Moisture Controller in Poultry Using IoT

In modern poultry farming, the integration of IoT technology addresses the critical factor of temperature and moisture control for optimal bird growth and health. Sensors strategically placed in poultry houses collect data, which is transmitted to IoT devices and processed in the cloud. Cloud-based analytics provide real-time insights, enabling farmers to identify and address potential issues promptly. This approach minimizes manual monitoring, improving efficiency. Moreover, an innovative application involves an ESP8266 microcontroller connected to a DHT11 sensor, activating a relay and DC555 motor to spray water via a sprinkler system when temperatures surpass a set threshold. This automated temperature control not only enhances environmental conditions but also contributes to improved bird health, increased profitability, and sustainable poultry farming practices.
