Design and Implementation Secured Automatic Roller Cleaning and Ink Refilling in Printing Industries

Offset printing is a widely used and reliable printing method that can face several problems, especially with older equipment which is mostly used in small-scale industries or when not properly maintained. The offset presses may develop issues with maintaining consistent ink coverage across the printed page. This can result in areas with too much or too little ink, leading to print quality problems. This can result in wasted paper and production delays. The offset presses may have difficulty with ink drying properly, which can result in smudging and offsetting of ink onto other sheets. This can lead to increased production time and quality issues. The offset printing used in small-scale industries often lacks the automation features of modern equipment, which can slow down the printing process and make it less efficient. The person continuously cleans the roller through their hands, which may cause severe injury. This study aims to automate the roller cleaning process and the ink refiller which spreads the ink uniformly on the roller. It also counts the number copies that are printed. It will help the small- scale industries to increase productivity with high efficiency and less wastage of materials.
