Streamlining Energy Consumption with IoT

This research work addresses the imperative issue of optimizing energy consumption monitoring by utilizing the Arduino-based sensors to gauge current from an electric fan and an electric bulb facilitating the calculation of power and energy usage. Furthermore, the data storage ensures seamless record-maintenance. The proposed system is designed to send SMS notifications to enhance user awareness. In addition to these functionalities, the proposed model incorporates machine learning techniques to detect any unauthorized energy usage or theft, reinforcing security and accountability in energy management. Environmental parameters such as light and temperature play a pivotal role in the proposed system, contributing to enable energy conservation efforts by dynamically adjusting energy usage based on specific conditions. To provide a comprehensive user experience, this study also offers an accompanying mobile application. The proposed application enables real-time energy consumption monitoring and device control, empowering users to make informed decisions and exercise precise control over the energy usage. Through this holistic approach, the proposed research work intends to create an efficient, intelligent, and user-friendly system for energy management.
