Study of Multilevel Inverter with SHE-PWM Using PSO Algorithm

this study uses PDPWM, PODPWM, APODPWM, and SHEPWM techniques to reduce switching losses and eliminate low order harmonics in a 9-level, 13-level, 17-level, and 71-level multilevel inverter. This study illustrates both asymmetric and symmetric single phase multilevel inverter structure. Exhibited Topology has the ability to provide voltage levels of output with a single cell of nine in a symmetrical layout, thirteen and seventeen, and seventy-one in an asymmetrical design. The current and voltage waveforms at output is able to fully free of low order harmonics through the appropriate switching angles. To calculate the switching angles, non-linear equations derived from the output voltage and current waveform’s Fourier series were employed. To solve the nonlinear equation and produce the required switching angles for the suggested reduced switch technique architecture, the PSO algorithm was created in this paper.
