Optimized Vector Perturbation Precoding with 5G Networks and Levy Flights

This study introduces an innovative approach to enhance the performance of vector perturbation precoding techniques in 5G networks. Leveraging the concept of Levy flights, a type of random walk with heavy-tailed step length distributions, we propose an optimized vector perturbation precoding scheme. The proposed scheme aims to improve the trade-off between performance and complexity in multi-user MIMO systems by intelligently adjusting the perturbation vectors. Through extensive simulations, we demonstrate that the incorporation of Levy flights leads to substantial gains in terms of achievable throughput and spectral efficiency, thereby showcasing the effectiveness of the proposed approach in enhancing the overall performance of 5G networks.
