An intelligent field-effect transistor biosensor for ultrasensitive real-time biomolecule detection

Various attempts to achieve real-time ultrasensitive detection of biomolecules has been limited due to significantly overlapping data in the low concentration range. Herein we report and validate graphene field-effect transistor biosensor coupled with signal processing unit for ultrasensitive serotonin detection in real-time mode. The data processing algorithm captures multiple features from transient response of the sensor to classify an unknown sample and predict presence or absence of serotonin for unknown sample.
