Predictable Optical Performance of GeSn based p-i-n DBH cavity resonator

The aim of the present paper is to investigate the optical analysis of GeSn based p-i-n DBH cavity resonator. The optical gain and loss coefficient are estimated and compared with existing p-i-n cavity resonator. The effects of different loss mechanisms like free carrier absorption, different scattering processes, intervalley absorption have been considered for this analysis.
