IoT Based Smart Poultry Management System

India’s agricultural economy depends heavily on the chicken sector, which has expanded tremendously because of improved farming methods. Maintaining the pace of the current world requires the adoption of automation and IoT technologies by almost all farming sectors. This work aims to automate poultry form management systems using IoT technology. The health of chicken can be affected by various important environmental factors that includes temperature, humidity, light intensity, percentage of ammonia gas, etc. Furthermore, manual tasks like feeding, timely provision of water, and floor maintenance are to be mechanized. The device continuously monitors the chick’s growth and development and initiates timely alerts to the owner and facilitates remote monitoring and control of the farm. The quality, quantity/number and the health of the chicken can be improved by maintaining optimal conditions. A mobile app and a website are used to provide continuous monitoring through information acquired from the farm and can also provide historical data for future use.
