A Novel Framework for an Intelligent Transportation and Emergency System

Many accidents and emergencies occur on the road. On the other hand, accidents cause health issues, infrastructure damage, poor circulation, and hundreds of thousands of fatalities due to a lack of timely treatment. As a result, we must establish an effective and intelligent emergency system to ensure that an ambulance arrives promptly at the scene of an accident to provide medical assistance to injured individuals. Other organisations, such as hospitals, must also be contacted immediately in order to make the necessary preparations ... provide immediate medical information to emergency personnel on the scene, including contacting anyone who may have been involved in the accident(s). This article provides a description of a cognitive process. The protocol uses Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) scenarios that combine connected and autonomous vehicles to provide prompt emergency assistance and reduce the mortality rate. In addition, for time-sensitive operations, our protocol reduces the amount of network-wide message broadcasting. In comparison to contemporary methods, the performance analysis yielded outstanding results.
