Experimental Evaluation of Internet of Things Assisted Human Voice based Smart Home Controlling System

When considering the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) within the realm of household environments, it has the transformative potential to elevate an ordinary dwelling into a smart, safer, and automated home. This paper introduces a Voice controlled Home Application, which offers users remote access to their household appliances. This innovative system harnesses the power of IoT technology and voice recognition, providing users with an intuitive and highly efficient means of controlling a diverse array of home appliances and devices. Through voice commands or text messages, users can seamlessly engage with their smart home ecosystem, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This amazing technology puts the power in our hands, allowing us to effortlessly give voice commands or send text messages. With this system, we can easily turn our appliances on or off to suit our needs, and the best part is, we can do it from anywhere, even if we were not physically at home. All we need to take advantage of this system is our trusty Android smartphone, a device that has become a part of our daily lives, and a control circuit. This control circuit revolves around an Arduino Uno microcontroller, which takes care of processing our commands and handling the operations of our devices. The microcontroller and our smartphone communicate via Bluetooth, a widely embraced wireless technology renowned for its excellent data-sharing capabilities.
