Brain Tumor Detection with Flower Shaped Monopole Antennas utilizing Microwave Imaging

The present study involves the construction of a flower-shaped patch with a ring structure in the ground plane using for Microwave Head Imaging (MHI). The structure that is constructed exhibits an operational frequency range spanning from 1.62 to 11.87 GHz, with a matching performance that exceeds 10 dB. The antenna achieves a peak gain of 5.48 dBi while operating at a frequency of 7.4 GHz. The evaluation of the impact of the antenna on the human head involves the examination of the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) of the planned antenna. The process involves the creastion of a head model consisting of seven distinct layers. The assessment of Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is conducted by activating various antennas in a multistatic configuration. All the performance characteristics of the proposed structure were carefully examined from the simulator.
