Adaptive protection relays coordination in power networks with connected disturbed Generators

Relay coordination in power network became more complicated due to presence of distributed generators (DG), which effect on the fault current value and direction, Grey Wolf optimizer (GWO) algorithm was used to achieve the coordination strategy for different connected DG types, ETAP software was also used to determine the fault current level for each relay for different cases.
