Research on Water and Rain Conditions System Based on NB IoT Technology

Water and rain monitoring is an important basis for scientific management, development and utilization of water conservancy projects, as well as an important means of water resource protection and reducing and preventing losses from flood disasters. In order to meet the real-time, effective, and reliable requirements of water and rain data collection by water administrative departments, a water level and rain real-time monitoring system based on NB IoT technology is proposed. The system is based on NB IoT communication technology and develops a telemetry module based on the BC95 module. It then collects data from water level sensors and rainfall sensors, and transmits these data to the hydrological management center through NB IoT communication to achieve real-time monitoring of water level and rainfall data information. The results indicate that NB IoT technology has the advantages of strong penetration ability, low power consumption, stable operation, and high reliability in water and rain monitoring, and can be applied to practical hydrological telemetry systems.
