Enhancing Home Automation: A Smart System with M5 Stack and Multiple Control Interfaces

This paper presents a home automation system based on the M5 Stack platform, aimed at providing efficient control over lighting using a range of tools and technologies. The system incorporates the Blynk application, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and NFC stickers to enable users to conveniently manage and operate their lighting environment. The M5 Stack development kit was chosen for its processing power, connectivity, and user interface capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with the software components employed in the project. The user-friendly BL YNK app offers a practical solution for smartphone-based control, while the integration of voice control through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa adds a hands-free option for operating the system. The use of NFC stickers introduces an innovative approach, allowing the system to recognize and respond to specific codes embedded within the stickers. Through the successful implementation of this home automation project, we demonstrate the potential of advanced technologies to enhance user interaction with their living spaces, providing greater convenience and customization. This paper contributes to the advancement of smarter homes and lays the foundation for improved quality of life through efficient and intuitive lighting control.
