A Sustainable Development of High-Strength Geopolymer Concrete with the Inclusion of Different Industrial Wastes

Geopolymer concrete (GPC) possesses satisfactory mechanical and durability properties, making it a highly favorable alternative to traditional concrete. This study showcases experimental findings on the fresh and hardened properties of High-Strength Geopolymer Concrete (HSGPC). The mix design for HSGPC was determined using a strength-based approach. The compressive strength was carried out in the cubical specimens after achieving the promising workability of each concrete mix. Stress-strain behavior was analyzed using cylindrical specimens at 28 days after achieving desired compressive strength on cubical specimens at 28 days. The results indicate that concrete toughness increases as compressive strength increases. Consequently, the maximum strain was observed in M70 grade concrete, while the minimum strain was observed in M100 grade concrete.
