Intelligent Framework for Waste Management Using Blockchain

In the era of ever-changing technologies, we people are adopting new technologies for our personal uses and pay for these technologies. Accessibility of technology and its availability at our fingertips has led people to discard the outdated/old electronic devices into the soil and humans have been blinded by its effect on their lives, after disposing of such toxic substances into nature! People abandoned electrical and electronic equipment is referred to as “Electronic Garbage”. The proper recycling of outdated technology in an eco-friendly way is a component of electronic waste management. Global warming is increasing day by day because of not well-managed E-Waste management. In this paper, we suggest a blockchain-based, secure, and distributed system for managing e-waste. It will make a better e-waste management system than the existing one. We develop smart contracts using blockchain technology, which are self-executing computer programmers that will carry out predetermined actions in response to current circumstances and maintain track of all operations. So, it will lead to a transparent process in a very secure manner.
