Energy Efficiency Optimization of Intelligent Reflective Surface-assisted Terahertz-RSMA System

This paper examines the energy efficiency optimization problem of Intelligent Reflective Surface (IRS)assisted multi-user Rate-Splitting Multiple Access (RSMA) under terahertz propagation. Comparing Salp Swarm Algorithm (SSA) and Successive Convex Approximation (SCA), it is found that SCA requires multiple iterations to solve non-convex resource allocation problems. At the same time, SSA can consume less time to improve energy efficiency.
