The Importance of Using ICT in Improving the Quality of Education

The integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has played a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education across all levels of academic institutions. ICT is progressively becoming an essential component of the education system, prompting educational stakeholders, including administrators and teachers, to reconsider their roles and envision the future of education. Consequently, educators find themselves compelled to incorporate ICT into teaching practices to enrich the methods and instructional strategies employed in the teaching-learning process. This paper aims to discuss the benefits of integrating Information Communication Technology (ICT) in education, emphasizing its role in improving the quality of teaching and learning. Effectively incorporating ICT into the educational process is deemed essential for improving it. The research found that the use of ICT at the University of Applied Sciences leads to efficiency and improvement in the quality of education.
