Optimizing Educational Experience: An Iterative Approach to Course Assignment Enhancement

A “student portal” operates as a portal for students to access educational programs and learning resources, typically needing a login and password for admission. This gateway contains all of an institution's online resources, including course schedules and grades. With increasing academic activities taking place online, the student portal is critical for providing students with the data, tools, and help they need to succeed. Enrolling in university courses is a challenging process that must be managed while keeping personal preferences and academic criteria in mind. Prior studies have emphasized the challenges in selecting a course, highlighting the necessity for a deliberate strategy to find a balance between individual interests and academic needs. This paper recommends utilizing Jacobi Iteration to address the issues involved with student scheduling. It recognizes that this strategy can increase assignment processing efficiency and accounts for the many impediments that occur from seat constraints, precondition dependencies, and individual preferences.
