Research on Health Management Design for the Elderly in the Context of Smart Healthcare

With the aging of the international community, the problem of chronic diseases among older people is becoming more and more prominent. With the rapid development of technology, health management products are emerging, but they still need help to solve the health problems of older people due to chronic diseases, so more is required to design a solution only from the perspective of the product. This paper adopts the literature review method to illustrate the irreplaceable importance of home care for older people. It also elaborates that in today's technologically advanced world, innovative healthcare technology is increasingly used in the home health management of chronic diseases in older people. In addition, the impact of intelligent medical technology on older people is explored through case studies. Is chronic disease management for older people only limited to disease treatment? Is there something new that needs our attention? Does innovative medical technology bring convenience or hindrance to older people? After that, based on the physiological and psychological characteristics of older people, we analyze that in the context of competent healthcare, the needs of older people in the process of health management do not only lie in the therapeutic effects of diseases at the medical level, but also include the satisfaction of emotional needs, respect needs, and social participation, and how to enhance the fulfillment of these aspects through innovative healthcare technology is a direction that is worth exploring.
