Versioning of SysML v2 for simulation by using Graph Databases in a CI/CD process

The new systems modeling language SysML v2 brings many changes for requirement engineering. With its constructs to address the specific needs of systems engineering it will be the new standard in its field. Currently there is barely any (free) software available to work with it. We set up an ADAS-simulation and used the SysML v2 to define parameters of the simulation. To read SysML v2 we developed a parser to map the code into Python-compatible JSON. Using this parser the specifications are read, the simulation set up and KPIs in the SysML v2 are rewritten according to simulation result. With a graph-versioning system searchability and persistence are guaranteed. SysML v2 is closer to programming languages than XML. With the current standard of SysML every vendor of external tools brought their own standard. Anyone who has worked with SysML knows the struggle incompatibility. In this work the proper SysML 2 standard was mapped into a database compatible form and versioning applied.
