Stability Analysis of Flexible Aircraft Using Gerschgorin Circle Theorem

The stability analysis of discrete control systems is a crucial step in their design and implementation. Gerschgorin's theorem is a valuable technique for examining the stability of such systems. The theorem employs Gerschgorin disks, which are formed by intersecting the rows or columns of a matrix with circles centered at the diagonal elements. These disks provide a geometric approach to estimating the eigenvalues of the matrix. This paper presents an abstract on the stability analysis of discrete control systems using the Gerschgorin scale, which is a graphical tool utilizing Gerschgorin disks. The Gerschgorin scale depicts the eigenvalues of the system's matrix as points on a complex plane. By analyzing the location of these points relative to the unit circle, the stability of the system can be determined. In summary, this paper focuses on utilizing Gerschgorin's theorem and the Gerschgorin scale to analyze and assess the stability of discrete control systems.
