Design and simulation of cooling system of 220KV transformer controlled by improved fuzzy PID based on PLC

With the rapid rise of power demand, higher requirements are put forward for the temperature control system of the transformer itself. Aiming at the problems of nonlinear, strong coupling, long delay and slow time variation in the traditional transformer temperature control system, this paper proposes a temperature control method combining the fuzzy intelligent control strategy and the traditional PID control. Firstly, the fuzzy control strategy is used to adjust the nonlinear working area of the radiator in the early stage of the system response. Secondly, when the system is about to reach the given value, the traditional PID control strategy is used to adjust the linear working area of the radiator, and the system simulation of the reference model is realized in MATLAB. The results show that the hybrid control algorithm proposed in this paper can improve the response speed of transformer cooling system and reduce the steady-state error.
