Research on the Application of Yolov5 Algorithm in Quadcopter UAV Target Recognition

When realizing the identification of ground targets based on quadcopter UAV, there are problems such as small target, occlusion and background interference, which lead to low detection accuracy, complex low-altitude tracking environment and changeable situation, which lead to easy loss of tracking. Improved Yolov5 target detection algorithm is proposed to ensure the recognition performance and improve the detection accuracy in this paper. Ensuring recognition performance and improving detection and recognition accuracy provides technical support for UAV to independently plan routes for target tracking in complex environments.
