A Comprehensive Performance Assessment of Machine Learning Models for Disaster Management

Notably, Logistic Regression (LR) and Support Vector Classifier (SVC) demonstrate commendable accuracy, attaining an impressive 88%. The Decision Tree Classifier, although slightly lower at 84% accuracy, still exhibits a robust predictive capacity. In contrast, Ensemble methods yield an accuracy of 86%, signifying their effectiveness in capturing intricate data relationships. Meanwhile, the k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) classifier registers an accuracy of 84%. This comprehensive performance assessment, meticulously outlined in the study, furnishes an indispensable reference for the judicious selection of the most suitable machine learning model tailored to specific task requirements, thereby advancing the field's data-driven decision-making capabilities.
