Design of CNC machine tool condition monitoring system

Aiming at the problems of low precision, data packet loss, and low degree of the network in the traditional CNC machine tool condition monitoring system, this paper designs a CNC machine tool condition monitoring system with two working modes. The system takes the STC12C5A60S2 chip as the core, has the function of data acquisition, and connects with the cloud platform through the network communication module to realize the remote monitoring function. The system can also be connected to a computer application based on Qt development, and on-site monitoring is performed through a computer application in an environment without a network. Experiments show that the average relative errors of the ambient temperature, ambient humidity, and temperature of each axis monitored by the system are 3.1 %, 6.9 %, and 2.8 %, respectively, and other functions are normal. It has good real-time performance and stability and can monitor the state of the machine tool remotely and on-site.
