Trunk-Branch Tree: A New Tree Structure, can be Divided into Trunk and Branches

This paper proposes a structure with the definitions of trunk and branch, called Trunk-Branch Tree. Compared to the traditional tree structure, edges become the core of the Trunk-Branch Tree, and the nodes exist as attributes of the edges. As a subtree type, the branches maintain all the characteristics of the Trunk-Branch Tree and can continue to decompose into higher-order subtrees. First, ten definitions and three theorems about the Trunk-Branch Tree are introduced. Then 11 core operations are performed. Finally, some complex algorithms are discussed, with the pseudocodes.
