Design and Build a Web-Based e-Learning System using ReactJS Framework

Online learning (e-learning) is a method of streamlining the teaching and learning activities of teachers and students without having to meet face to face. One of the schools that requested online learning is Madinatul Ilmi Foundation, which has limited facilities in classrooms. The Madinatul Ilmi Foundation welcomes many students from primary to vocational, but the lack of space forces some students to carry out learning activities at home. This also makes some students feel like they don’t understand the instructional material being explained. The purpose of this research is to construct a web-based e-learning data framework that can be utilized as a supplement or substitute for learning exercises. This framework will also provide easy and quick access for students and teachers to share learning material. It is also hoped that this could increase the productivity of students who want to study outside of class. The framework advancement strategy utilized is Fast Application Improvement (RAD). The framework design using Unified Modeling Language (UML). Use the Javascript programming language, using the ReactJS framework and PostgreSQL database, then further test the system using black box testing. This study creates an online learning system that students and teachers can directly access, where teachers can manage existing materials and can also manage tests/quizzes multiple-choice. Students can also access eLearning to view available materials and tests/quizzes.
