Online Compulsive Buying Behavior after Outbreak in Java – Big Cities

Shopping transactions underwent significant changes, particularly during the zenith of the spread of COVID19, when many businesses used digitalization to ensure their survival. Digitalization has also influenced changes in consumer behavior and continues to do so. This study assesses the level of online compulsive buying behavior that is impacted by website quality via online impulsive buying behavior and the use of e-payments following a change in consumer behavior that is the cause of the peak phase of COVID-19 dissemination. Purposive sampling was utilized in this study, with 393 respondents providing data. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) with WarpPLS 8.0 software was utilized as the analytical method. The study’s findings show that website quality, use of e-payments, and online impulsive buying behavior all have an impact on online compulsive buying behavior.
