Research on Unbalanced Funds Settlement Mechanism in Liaoning Electricity Spot Market

In the context of the electricity spot market, unbalanced funds arising from structural imbalance and market imbalance is the key issues in the electricity spot settlement process. This paper analyzes the causes of the unbalanced cost in the power market, comprehensively considers the influence of power purchasing agency settlement, inter-provincial transaction, demand response and green power settlement on unbalanced funds in the province spot market. This paper designed the unbalanced fund settlement model and allocation mechanism considering the characteristics of Liaoning power market, and verified the settlement model through the analysis of numerical examples. The result of the example proves the rationality of the settlement mechanism, which can effectively reduce the market imbalance funds in the spot market in Liaoning, and can provide reference suggestions for the mechanism design of the spot market in Liaoning.
