Analysis of Factors Influencing the Use of QRIS on Museum Visitors with the Extended TAM Model

This research aims to determine what factors significantly influence public acceptance of using QRIS as a means of payment at museums in Indonesia. It needs to be done because, up to now, only two museums in Indonesia use transactions using QRIS as a payment transaction tool that has been established in Indonesia. This study uses the TAM model with several variables such as Efficiency and Security (ES), reduced cost (RC), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), Attitude Towards (ATT), and Behavioral Intention (BI). By calculating the sample using the Krejci formula, 384 respondents were obtained from 2 museums in Jakarta. The research technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. Analysis was performed with Smart Partial Least Square software (SmartPLS) version 3. Based on the results of the study that has been carried out, several variables that have accepted the use of QRIS are Efficiency Security (3,105), Perceived Ease of Use (5,527), and Perceived Usefulness (2,948), while Attitude Toward variable (0,349) and Reduced Cost (0,059) does not. From the above, it can be concluded that if a QRIS is to be implemented as a payment transaction tool in various museums in Indonesia, then museum visitors will consider security in transactions (Efficiency Security), Ease of Transaction (Perceived Ease of Use) and Benefits obtained (Perceived Usefulness). Even though this research only involves two museums in Jakarta, this can be the basis for implementing QRIS in museums other than Jakarta to help managers and visitors improve museum management in a good way.
