Analysis of the Successful Implementation of Contact Tracing Application Using the Delone & McLean Model

PeduliLindungi was an application made by the government to track the spread of the COVID-19 virus. However, applications that have been released since 2020 still have several weaknesses, such as frequent system errors, difficulty getting OTP codes, no vaccine certificates appearing, difficulties registering vaccines, and problems with user trust in using the PeduliLindungi application. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the successful implementation of the PeduliLindungi application. This study uses a quantitative approach. The model used in this study was the Delone & McLean model with the variables of information quality, service quality, system quality, usage, user satisfaction, and net profit, and this research adds system trust variables. The population in this study were Android/iOS mobile phone users with the PeduliLindungi application, using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis process used the PLS-SEM approach with SmartPLS version 3.2.9 tools. The results of the research hypothesis showed that of the 10 hypotheses tested, there were two variables that were rejected, namely the quality of the system for use and the quality of the system for user satisfaction. Factors of information quality, service quality, system trust, user satisfaction, and usage have a significant effect on the successful implementation of the application as a COVID19 service application.
