Application Study of GIS + BIM Technology in Substation Construction Quality Control

In this paper, the method of quality control of construction process based on GIS+BIM technology is designed for the poor quality control in the construction process of substation. The method applies laser point cloud, real 3D model and BIM model as the basic data, and checks and corrects the problems in the construction process by continuously comparing and analyzing the BIM design model and aerial survey spatial data in the construction process. At the same time, according to the substation construction inspection requirements and acceptance standards, a standardized quality control process was established, and the control software was developed and applied in actual projects, achieving remarkable results.
