Exploring the Role of Information Technology in Analyzing the Choice to Attend a Master’s Program in Management during COVID-19: A Financial Perspective

This study’s conclusions are twofold. First, it is evident that COVID-19 regulation policies in Indonesia have a substantial impact on how individuals manage their personal finances. The pandemic and associated regulations necessitated changes in financial strategies, reflecting the adaptability of individuals during challenging times. Surprisingly, the influence of these COVID-19 policies did not significantly affect students’ decisions to enroll in the Master’s Program at Pamulang University. Other factors seem to play a more prominent role in determining their enrollment choices. However, the study underscores the crucial role of personal financial management in students’ decisions to pursue a Master’s Program. Their financial well-being and effective financial management significantly influence their choice to continue their education. Throughout the research, the importance of information technology became evident. Technology played a pivotal role in navigating the ”New Normal” in education during the pandemic, highlighting its significance in understanding the interplay between COVID-19 regulations, financial management, and enrollment decisions.
