Centralized DeePC-Based Voltage Control for Networked Microgrids System

The networked microgrid system (NMS) has become an effective alternative for integrating various types of distributed energy resources (DERs). However, because of the high R/X ratio in the system, the uncertainty and variability of DERs’ power generation may cause voltage variations and violations in the system. To address this issue, we propose a novel data-driven voltage control strategy based on DeePC algorithm to handle the voltage violations in NMS. Our suggested control algorithm formulates the optimal voltage control problem for the entire NMS and solves it using the DeePC algorithm. We formulate a data-driven system model based on the historical system trajectories. We validate the superiority of the proposed algorithm by simulating it in a modified 10-bus NMS.
