Decision Support System Mapping of Information Technology Training for Students with Blind Disabilities

The Republic of Indonesia Law Number 8 of 2016 explains that a person with disabilities is part of the Republic of Indonesia and has the same rights and obligations. Therefore, social welfare improvement for people with disabilities is necessary. One way to improve social welfare is by providing information technology training. To support information technology training, mapping is needed for appropriate training for people with disabilities. In this research, mapping was carried out for people with visual impairments for technology training. Mapping was carried out using a decision support system, where there was a ranking of each information technology training based on ability. The ranking was analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This study focuses on people with visual impairments, and the types of training to be evaluated are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Scratch Programming, Adobe Illustrator, e-marketing, internet browsing, and social media. The results obtained show the ranking of appropriate information technology training for people with visual impairments.
