Verifier: Marksheet Verification using Blockchain

The verification of academic Marksheets is a challenging task for industries as it requires communication with educational institutions to ensure accuracy. The counterfeit marksheets further complicate this process, demanding verification of marksheet which require valuable time. To overcome this we propose a blockchain-based solution that uses a decentralized ledger and, hence has no central authority which provides a solution to verify marksheet easily and efficiently. The digital marksheets are authenticated by administrators, and then the hash of marksheet is securely stored on the blockchain with the seat number. This hash serves as a unique identifier. Our web application facilitates easy verification of a student’s marksheet authenticity. By converting the digital marksheet into a cryptographic hash and cross-referencing it with the blockchain’s hash, the system offers a streamlined and dependable means of authentication, addressing the industry’s verification challenges efficiently.
