Use of Concept Mapping as a tool for Education field

Concept Maps serve as visual depictions of subjects, concepts, and their interconnections. They enable individuals to organize information into interconnected modules, making it easier to discern the relationships between these modules. Concept mapping offers significant potential for enhancing learning and teaching within educational settings. This potent technique can contribute to educational improvement in four distinct realms: (1) as a deliberate learning approach, (2) as an instructional method, (3) as a tool for curriculum planning, and (4) as a means of gauging students’ comprehension of scientific concepts.Concept Maps play a vital role in fostering meaningful learning among students and serve as a means of representing the collective knowledge and experiences of individuals and educational teams across various domains, including education, engineering education, science, medicine, and management courses. In the following document, we have conducted an extensive survey to consolidate numerous research endeavors related to concept maps within the aforementioned disciplines. Our aim is to simplify the research process for newcomers interested in exploring the realm of concept mapping.
