Construction of Mobile Coverage Map Including Altitude to Build a Sky Road for UAVs

This paper proposes a method for constructing a coverage map of a mobile communication network according to geolocation including altitude values for safe operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also called drones. In addition, it describes the overall system structure using a UAV system including mobile communication network quality acquisition sensors and an Internet of Thing (IoT) platform based on international standards for data storage and management. Lastly, it shows the mobile coverage map including the altitude that has been developed and released to date.
